UC Berkeley Visitor Services - Campus Ambassador

Since Fall 2024

Giving tours to public groups, high school and middle school students, etc., staffing Sather Tower (UC Berkeley’s clock and bell tower), and answering questions at the Visitor Center.

Berkeley ANova - Events Committee Co-Officer

Spring 2026

Working with my co-officer to lead a team of five in planning the 2026 iteration of ANova’s annual free 24-hour hackathon for Bay Area high-schoolers, ANova Hacks. As a general ANova mentor, I visit a local high school with other club members to teach beginner-friendly coding lessons to students after school.

Tutor - Data 8: Foundations of Data Science and Data 36: Data Scholars Foundations Seminar

Spring, Summer, and Fall 2025

Helped students learn foundational statistics and data science concepts and program in Python during office hours, discussion sections, and small-group tutoring sections. Supported Data Scholars, a program that has shaped my experience in Berkeley Data Science and supports students taking Data classes with little prior programming experience and those who are underrepresented minorities in STEM.
